Every Junior National Qualifier has a Stay and Play Policy.
Help us Support the Sport!
Volleyball tournaments such as these require a lot of space – and that means Convention Centers. But there is great deal of competition for those spaces and it can be impossible to get the space needed for our events on popular weekends unless we demonstrate to host cities the clear benefits our events bring to their local economies.
For your benefit and ours, we’ve every tournament partners with a team hotel company. These companies help teams by getting them access to better room rates, making it more convenient for teams to manage their hotel reservations, coordinate room blocks (e.g. keeping room assignments close together), manage occupant lists, etc. The hotel companies benefit the USAV Regions by helping them demonstrate our positive impact on local economies and guarantee the success of future events.

On the second day of competition, the American teams that are still in contention for the bids, will play their pools in the morning and a challenge match in the afternoon. The teams that can no longer win a bid after the first day of pool play, may be playing their second day pools in the afternoon, even if they played the first day in the morning wave.
Food - Spectator chairs are provided at all playing sites. No outside portable folding chairs are permitted at any site due to Fire Marshall restrictions. Coolers and Outside food cannot be brought in either. Bags may be checked for food or weapons.

Combine
Championship Combines is focused on creating the opportunity for players to demonstrate their volleyball skills and for college coaches to evaluate recruits in a quick and economical manner. The Combine format leans towards individual/position/group drills, as opposed team play. This allows the college coaches the ability to see multiple repetitions of specific skills, while also reducing the risk of injuries which can often occur in team competition.
