Practice Schedule

Call or text your coach 24 hours in advance if you cannot make it
Arrive 5-10 min early
CRC requires parking permits. If you plan to stay to watch, you may want to think about getting a parking pass for the 2nd semester
Bring water
Come focused and with a goal for yourself each day
Practice with intention
Memory and information retention is a skill. Practice remembering what you did and what you heard at practice in order to get better faster and practice more effectively
Be an "active listener" - pay close attention to what your coaches say
Do not talk while your coach is talking and give them eye contact
Manage your time well so that you limit the times you miss for school and other activities
Laughing at funny things that happen during practice is encouraged, as long as, you are not laughing at someone who is not laughing with you, but giggling at someone's mistake and whispering is not encouraged
Embrace the struggle that comes with mastering a sport or skill
Your mistakes are gifts if you learn from them
You will be uncomfortable at times, be ok with being uncomfortable
