BEACH TRYOUTS

Location: Tryouts will be held at the CRC Beach Volleyball Facility

*your current grade not the grade you will be in the fall of 2025

• HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to have a partner **
• Must have at least 1 year of club or beach experience

*We do not guarantee you will have a partner for the season if you tryout alone. Our practices focus on partner relationships and you need a partner for tournaments so a partner is pretty essential to the overall experience. You are more than welcome to tryout without a partner, we just want to make it clear that we will not find you a partner for tournaments - that will be up to you. We will match you up with someone at practice only if there is an odd number. 

1. Register for tryouts
2. Make sure you have a current NCVA or AAU membership. (Our beach season is insured by AAU, not the NCVA, so you will need to purchase an AAU membership if you join our program)
3. Arrive 15 minutes early to check in for tryouts
4. Have fun at tryouts!
   1.  Bring plenty of water and wear a tank top and shorts. No kneepads or shoes
   2. If you register with a partner you will be evaluated as a pair so that you stay together. If you do not have a partner, we will try to match you with a player of similar skill and age
5. We will email you with tryout results by the weekend with a link to register for the season
6. Register for the beach season and purchase beach uniforms!!!!!!

If you are unable to make tryouts please complete the Google Form below for the possibility of a makeup tryout earlier that week.
