Tryout Dates, Times, Location
6th Grade - 8th Grade | Tuesday May 21st | 6:00-7:30 PM
9th Grade - 12th Grade | Thursday May 23rd | 6:00-7:30 PM
Location: Tryouts will be held at Elk Grove Park Sand Courts, 9950 Elk Grove Florin Road (courts are off of Park Road in the park)
Prerequisite
We ask that everyone who attends tryouts has at least 1 season of club volleyball experience
Tryout Checklist
- Register for tryouts
- Purchase an AAU membership see below! (Our beach season is insured by AAU, not the NCVA. So every athlete must also get their AAU Membership for the outdoor season. AAU membership for the season is $20-$22 per athlete)
- Arrive 15 minutes early to check in for tryouts
- Have fun at tryouts!
- Bring plenty of water and wear a tank top and shorts. No kneepads or shoes
- If you register with a partner you will be evaluated as a pair so that you stay together. If you do not have a partner, we will try to match you with a player of similar skill and age
- We will email you with tryout results by the weekend. Tryout results will tell you what beach team you are practicing with, what time, and a link to register for the season.
- Register for the beach season and purchase beach uniforms!!!!!!
